We pinoys love summer adventures and when we say adventures we mean travelling, hiking, water sports and even visiting unique summer places that gives us that relaxation and contentment we want (or need). Though some of us wanted to just find a good place in town but to no avail, there are just very limited summer destinations and sanctuaries out here. Good thing Antipolo houses some of the wonderful tourist spots, including the famous Luljettas Place, a hanging Gardens Spa and Garden suites. It has amenities for one’s ultimate pampering and relaxation. Luljettas came from Spanish name of Lolita, the owner of the properties.
Well, this is actually not the first time I am sharing you about this place. Back in 2013 when Luljettas is on its humble beginnings, we got the chance to visit the place and I would say that A LOT HAS CHANGED FOR GOOD!
If you look at the 2013 photos here in my Facebook Page on Rod Magaru Show, you’ll see how big the improvements are. Surprisingly, The Luljettas Garden Suites is one of the most beautiful additions to the place. And because of the requests of the patrons and to cater to a broader range of market banking on the health and wellness offerings of the resort, they build the Luljetta’s Place, Hanging Gardens Spa and Garden Suites. Also very happy because they now have fully operational overnight accommodations, which I would love to share with you.
We arrived at Luljettas around after lunch and of course, since Antipolo is home of the most popular Suman in the country, Luljettas has its version of very delectable suman known as “SuMaka”, a sweet delicacy of Suman, Mango and Kasuy paired with refreshing lemon grass iced tea.
Luljettas Café also serve variety of fruit shakes, hot and iced coffee. I liked how spacious the reception and Café where they welcome all the guests for orientation and billeting, this is also where the breakfast buffet and when people wants to dine.
After securing our wristband badges which is by the way, will define the number of services you avail. They have numerous packages (explain below) from basic massage to scrub including access to hanging garden spa.
For the Luljettas Garden Suites, there are multiple kinds of accommodation such as Governor’s suite, Mayor’s Suite, Mykonos suite, Santorini Suites, Senator Suites and Councilor’s Studio. We stayed at Governor’s Suite in Room 906.
The second level have 1 single bed and another queen bed.
Oh by the way, let me tell you how to go to Luljettas Hanging Gardens Spa and Gardens Suite:
If you’re coming from EDSA, take a van at Shaw Boulevard to Ynares then ride a tricycle to Antipolo Church. Alternate: Take a jeep or FX in Cubao plying Antipolo Simbahan (FX/VAN). Travel time is 40-60 minutes.
If youre coming from Ortigas Avenue, go straight all the way to Ortigas Extension. Turn right when you reach the Ynares Sports Center. Go straight then turn right again when you reach Unciano Medical Center. From there, you will see Loreland Farm Resort’s directional signs. Simply follow the signs to get to the Gardens Spa.
If you’re coming from Marcos Highway: Turn right at the Sumulong Highway intersection upon reaching Masinag Market (located on your left). Follow the Sumulong Highway until you reach the Circumferential Road. Make a right turn. Go straight, and then make another right turn when you reach the first Triangle. Go straight again before making a left turn at the Hamaka Park Triangle near Ynares Sports Center. Follow the road until you reach Unciano Medical Center then turn right. Simply follow the signs to get to the Loreland Farm Resort.
At the vicinity of the Gardens Suite, there are few area which can be utilize in case you are a big group. At the second level of Luljettas Café is the Ibarra Hall wherein special events and occasion can be hold.
Overlooking Ibarra Hall beside the lobby is a beautiful lap pool inviting everyone to take a dip.
There is also Café Del Mar which is ideal for corporate groups staying in.
Beside it, is the Jardin Del Eden, an Italian inspired place where you can chill or even hold group activities as well.
Similar to Jardin Del Eden, a colorful, well-lighted Jardin Del Sol is perfect for romantic dinners and relax. This is actually a place where Luljettas hold occasional dinner reservations.
Usually this is where they hold acoustic nights every weekend. I would love to go back and see how it goes. Isn’t it romantic?
There is one area in Luljettas Gardens Suites that is about to open, the MYKONOS which I am sure will be one of the best relaxation area to try.
Here are the published rates of Luljettas Place Hanging Gardens Spa.
After fixing our things, we were able to finally go to the Hanging Gardens Spa. There is a golf car that brought us to the place because from the Lobby, you will have to go pass the Loreland Farm Resort to reach Hanging Gardens Spa.
We saw few people during the weekend enjoying the area including my favorite Hydro massage pool. You will see some guests wearing batik already as this is the traditional face of relaxation in Luljettas. I mean, you will be wearing this if you have an appointment for scrubs or massages.
As you enter the hanging gardens, the reception and another Luljettas Café will welcome you. It has a very charming ceiling and set up overlooking Laguna De Bay, Antipolo and Metro Manila.
From here, you will take another stairs to reach the locker rooms, The Zen Lounge, Buddha Lounge, Hydro massage pool and Infinity Pool.
Tropical and Asian Inspired, the hanging gardens and Spa boasts of furniture pieces from Marinas’ family trips across Asia. Some of the synthetic rattan weavers were made by craftsmen of Pampanga.
Their signature massage is indeed one for the books! I wasn’t able to take a photo of ours during the massage because we literally fell asleep.
We managed to enjoy the hydro massage pool and it is therapeutic to just sit there for a couple of minutes.
The Zen Lounge also houses a fish spa and a mini tables for those who want to play Pinoy games to kills time or while waiting for their massage.
The Buddha Lounge on the other hand have couple of beds and chairs and I remember the last time we visited here this is where we had our foot massage.
The infinity pool is indeed very inviting because it has a view of its own. Aside from fountains all over, you get to dip into 4 to 5-feet deep pool that can accommodate 10 to 20 people.
The hanging garden is very big that you will get lost along the corridor but very ideal for those who want their cardio exercise.
With my partners in crime Ruth Dela Cruz and Rodel Flordeliz.
On the other side, you will find another haven for film geek as there is a Luljettas Hanging Movie lounge that showcase your favorite movies.
Of by the way, Luljettas Cafe serves good food, here are some of the feasts we had during our stay.
I can summarize my weekend in Luljettas in three words. YOU ARE LOVED. Thank you Luljettas Hanging Gardens Spa and Garden Suites for having us! Here I am with Ruth Dela Cruz, Rodel Flordeliz and Ramon Figurasin Marinas.
