Filipino Music Awards 2026: Complete List of Winners

The Filipino Music Awards 2026 celebrated another major year for Original Pilipino Music, with some of the country’s biggest artists, songs, albums and live performances taking home top honors at the second edition of the awards.

Held on October 6, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, the Filipino Music Awards brought together established OPM icons and some of the country’s biggest contemporary music acts. The ceremony recognized achievements across genre awards, People’s Choice categories, legacy honors and the major Grand Awards.

Among the night’s biggest winners was BINI, which was named Artist of the Year and also won Tour of the Year for its Signals World Tour 2026. Meanwhile, SB19 took home Concert of the Year for Wakas At Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale, as well as two People’s Choice awards.

Maki’s KOLORCOASTER was named Album of the Year, while Skusta Clee and Flow G’s “Since Day One” won both Song of the Year and Hip-Hop Song of the Year. Fitterkarma was recognized as Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

BINI’s Artist of the Year victory marks one of the group’s biggest achievements at the Filipino Music Awards, while their Tour of the Year win further recognizes their impact as a live act. For SB19, Wakas At Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale took the Concert of the Year award, adding another major recognition to the group’s growing list of achievements.

The awards also recognized standout releases across six major musical genres.

Pop Song of the Year

“Baduy” — VVINK, DJ Love, Pio Balbuena

The track won over fellow nominees including BINI’s “Unang Kilig,” Baby Dolls’ “Oohh Lala Baby,” KAIA’s “hulog,” and Maki’s “habangbuhay pansamantala.”

Alternative Song of the Year

“Kabisado” — IV OF SPADES

The song emerged victorious over entries from fitterkarma, SUYEN, ena mori and Cup of Joe.

Hip-Hop Song of the Year

“Since Day One” — Skusta Clee ft. Flow G

The track’s win gave Skusta Clee and Flow G a second major victory of the night after also taking Song of the Year.

Rock Song of the Year

“What Would It Take (For You To Realize The True Evil In This World?)” — Typecast

The Typecast track won the Rock Song of the Year category against songs from Dilaw, Janine Berdin, ONE CLICK STRAIGHT ft. Raymund Marasigan and IV OF SPADES.

Folk Song of the Year

“Lifetime (Reimagined)” — Ben&Ben

Ben&Ben took the Folk Song of the Year award, beating releases from Angela Ken, shirebound, Jan Roberts ft. Johnoy Danao and Clara Benin.

R&B Song of the Year

“LOVE AGAIN” — Denise Julia

“Sinigang” — Alamat

The category resulted in a tie, with Denise Julia and Alamat both taking home the R&B Song of the Year honor.

People’s Choice Award Winners

The Filipino Music Awards also featured awards determined by public voting, giving fans an opportunity to recognize their favorite artists and songs.

SB19’s double People’s Choice victory added to their Concert of the Year win, making the group one of the night’s biggest winners.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Regine Velasquez-Alcasid

Music Foundation Award: Organisasyon ng mga Pilipinong Mang-Aawit (OPM)

Music Company of the Year: ABS-CBN Music

Tribute Award: Francis Magalona

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognized Regine Velasquez-Alcasid’s enduring contribution to Philippine music, while the Tribute Award honored the legacy of the late Francis Magalona.

The Filipino Music Awards 2026 reflected the increasingly diverse landscape of Philippine music, with P-Pop, hip-hop, rock, alternative, folk and R&B artists all receiving major recognition. BINI emerged as one of the night’s biggest stories after taking both Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year. Their success further highlights the group’s continued influence on the Philippine music scene and their growing presence as a major live act.

SB19 also had a particularly strong night. The group won Concert of the Year for Wakas At Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale and secured both People’s Choice awards for Artist and Song with “VISA.” Maki’s KOLORCOASTER meanwhile earned Album of the Year, while Skusta Clee and Flow G’s “Since Day One” became one of the night’s most celebrated songs after winning both Song of the Year and Hip-Hop Song of the Year.

With the second edition of the Filipino Music Awards now concluded, the ceremony once again highlighted the depth and diversity of Filipino music—from established legends to a new generation of artists shaping the country’s current sound.
