September is shaping up to be another exciting month for HBO Max subscribers in the Philippines, with a packed lineup of new series, blockbuster films, reality programs and returning favorites.
Among the biggest highlights is DC Studios’ Lanterns, which continues to roll out new episodes every Monday. The highly anticipated series joins a slate that also includes the Max Original Stuart Fails to Save the Universe and the return of The Paper for its second season.
Movie fans can also look forward to the streaming premiere of Michael, the highly anticipated biopic about music icon Michael Jackson. Starring Jaafar Jackson, the film arrives on HBO Max on September 25, offering audiences a chance to revisit the life and legacy of one of the most influential entertainers in music history.
New Series Take the Spotlight
For fans of comedy and workplace stories, The Paper returns for Season Two on September 9. Meanwhile, Korean drama The Ordinary Jackpot premieres on September 10, following office worker Eun-tae, played by Lee Jun-hyuk, whose life takes an unexpected turn after winning the lottery.
The lineup also features new episodes of Baby Lemmings beginning September 7 and 21, while Regular Show: The Lost Tapes returns with new episodes on September 21 and 28.
The new series Line of Fire (2026) will also premiere on September 22.
Fans can continue following Call My Manager every Thursday, while Fired Up! and The Producer arrive with new episodes every Friday. The month will also see the finales of My Bias, My Boss on September 8 and Stuart Fails to Save the Universe on September 25.
Blockbuster Movies Coming This Month
HBO Max’s September movie slate offers a mix of action, drama and music.
Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires premieres on September 4 and will also air on HBO on September 19 at 9 p.m. Meanwhile, Reminders of Him arrives on September 18, followed by its HBO broadcast on September 26 at 9 p.m. The biggest movie event of the month, however, comes on September 25 with Michael, starring Jaafar Jackson as the legendary King of Pop.
Reality Favorites and New Discoveries
Reality and unscripted entertainment also get plenty of attention throughout September. AFN’s Poh Cooks Malaysia premieres on September 1, followed by ID’s OJ Unseen: Exploitation of Evil on September 8 and Animal Planet’s Extreme Bugs on September 9.
Discovery’s In the Eye of the Storm: Chasers premieres on September 15, while HGTV’s Help! I Wrecked My House returns for its fourth season on September 23. AFN’s Go Where Flavors of Hunan Abound also returns for Season Three on September 27.
Revisit Emmy-Nominated Favorites
With the 78th annual Emmy Awards scheduled for September 14 in the U.S., viewers can also revisit some of the year’s acclaimed and nominated programs on HBO Max. Among the titles worth catching up on are Max Originals The Pitt and Hacks, as well as HBO Originals A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, The Gilded Age and Task, among others.
From DC superheroes and Korean drama to award-season favorites, major movies and reality entertainment, HBO Max is offering plenty of reasons to tune in throughout September.
