Exploring Singapore with Ease: My Staycation Guide to V Hotel Lavender

If you’re planning a trip to Singapore and looking for a spot that perfectly balances convenience, comfort, and affordability, I cannot recommend V Hotel Lavender enough. During my recent stay, the absolute highlight for me was its location; it is literally right beside the Lavender MRT station. Being just steps away from the train makes navigating the city incredibly seamless, especially when you want to maximize your time exploring without worrying about long commutes or expensive taxi rides.

One of the things I loved most about staying here was how easy it was to stay active. Just a few train stations away, you’ll find yourself at the iconic Merlion Park. I made it a point to head over there for my casual runs, and there is nothing quite like jogging along the waterfront with the stunning views of Marina Bay Sands and the skyline as your backdrop. It’s a refreshing way to see the city wake up before the midday heat kicks in.

Oh, and by the way, this is the Superior Queen Room.

When it comes to food, you are absolutely spoiled for choice at V Hotel Lavender. The surrounding area is packed with a huge variety of food stalls and restaurants that cater to every craving. As someone who always looks for a taste of home, I was thrilled to find a “lutong pinoy” stall nearby that serves authentic Filipino food. Having that comfort meal after a long day of sightseeing really made my stay feel special. Whether you’re looking for local Singaporean delights or a familiar Filipino favorite, you won’t have to wander far.

I love their gym as well, in front of their beautiful swimming pool.

The rooms are cozy and provide the perfect sanctuary to recharge, but the real draw is definitely the vibrant neighborhood and the unbeatable transport links.
