Fresh from my review of one of the nicest tablets from TechLife, which is the TechLife Pad Plus 12″ I got my hands on the TechLife Pad Lite 8” even before its official launch! And let me tell you, this compact tablet is a good option in a world where tablets seem to be getting bigger and bigger. I got the gorgeous Champagne Gold version, but it also comes in a vibrant Lilac Purple.
Here’s what’s inside the box of TechLifePad Lite 8″

First off, the size? Yes, I am sold. Sometimes I’ve been craving a tablet that I can actually take with me everywhere without feeling like I’m lugging around a laptop. What’s cool about it is that it actually fits in all of my denim jackets! TechLife totally nailed it with this 8.5” compact design. It’s super handy, incredibly affordable, and honestly, it keeps up with the more expensive products when it comes to efficiency and entertainment. Seriously, catching up on my favorite podcasts has never been easier or more comfortable.
The apps are decent and feels like any ordinary pad. Well, I mean I though it would shrink but it didnt.
This tablet isn’t just about the basics. One of the coolest features is its unique detachable stand. It screws right onto the tablet with a magnet, making it secure when you’re not using it.
I admit, I had a bit of a laugh figuring it out at first, but once you get it, you’ll appreciate how it gives you that perfect viewing angle, whether you’re binging Netflix or just scrolling through your feeds. Plus, the colors? They’re so chic, they almost feel like an extension of your OOTD.
Under the hood, the TechLife Pad Lite 8” is no slouch. It’s got a 6000mAh battery that will easily get you through a day of videos and music. Plus, with 8GB of expandable RAM (yes, up to a whopping 1TB!) and a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Processor running on Android 15, this tablet handles everything smoothly. Connectivity is also a breeze with its seamless LTE, allowing for two nano SIM cards or one nano SIM and a microSD. I don’t use SIM cards on my tablets, so Wi-Fi is already fine with me. And with that 800×1280 high-definition resolution and dual stereo speakers, streaming your favorite shows or just chilling with music is an absolute joy.
Now, let’s talk about cameras. While it’s not its main selling point, the 5MP rear and 5MP selfie cameras are totally acceptable for your everyday snaps.
And when it comes to charging, it’s got 5W reverse charging and a 10-watt Type-C connector. So, you can easily charge up and get back to watching your favorite Netflix movie, just like I’m doing right now!
TechLife Officially Launches Pad Lite 8” for P4,999 SRP.
So with this price range, I think it’s a workable table for those budgeting with their gadget purchases. All in all, the TechLife Pad Lite 8” is a compact, stylish, and surprisingly capable tablet that truly hits the sweet spot for my everyday use. If you’re looking for an affordable, portable companion that keeps you entertained and connected without breaking the bank or your back, this little gadget is definitely a winner in my book!
