(TV) Game of Thrones Season 5 To be Aired in HBO Asia Same Time in US

Last night was indeed one of my favorite nights in my US Series universe. HBO Asia invited me, together with some selected members of the media, along with fans of the series, to watch the Asia’s exclusive advanced screening of the GAME of THRONES. Last year, I was able to see the series (Season 4) in advanced too.

I was very lucky to see my favorite character again.

Arya Stark (Season 5, Episode 1)

And more than lucky to have been a part of those very few to see the new episode of GAME OF THRONES, days ahead of its worldwide broadcast.

GAME OF THRONES is the first of our many HBO Original series to premiere in Asia the same time as the U.S., and the first television series to debut worldwide in over 170 countries simultaneously,” said Angela Poh, HBO Asia’s Manager of Communications. “We’re so pleased bring this opportunity for our fans in the Philippines to experience the Iron Throne live. The series is such a huge global phenomenon and we know what a huge hit it is in the Philippines.”

The happiest part last night, I was able to sit on one of the most popular king’s chair, the famous Game of Thrones’ Iron Throne! HBO Asia brings to Manila a life-sized replica of the Iron Throne, as seen in the series.Screenshot_2015-04-09-14-17-33

From April 8 to 10 at Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street, the GAME OF THRONES Iron Throne will be on display for fans to experience and photograph. Fans are encouraged to post pictures of themselves on the Iron Throne on Facebook and tag HBO Asia with the hashtag #HBOAsiaGoTS5 #IronThronePh for a chance to win a miniature Iron Throne for themselves.
