Preview magazine together with Parisian Shoes and Bags and celebrity endorser KC Concepcion fly to Paris, France to produce the very first Preview Escape, a mini-magazine showcasing the brand’s latest collection.
Preview magazine, the Philippines’ stylebible, traveled to the City of Light for a three-day photoshoot in partnership with Parisian Shoes and Bags and celebrity endorser KC Concepcion. Renowned photographer Mark Nicdao together with Preview Creative Director Vince Uy, Fashion Director Daryl Chang, Makeup Guru Lala Flores and Preview Creative Solutions Managing Editor Roana Capaque all collaborated to glam up and capture KC wearing the latest offerings from the brand’s holiday collection.
The actress-singer was ecstatic about the project as it was a first, not just for her, but also for Preview magazine and Parisian Shoes and Bags, to shoot in a city that all three parties seamlessly had a connection with.
The Preview Parisian Escape was a brainchild of the magazine’s Creative Solutions team that the SM brand immediately picked up. “Parisian as a brand dreamt of having a fashion campaign shoot in Paris. With the launch of our brand ambassador, KC Concepcion, who is very much familiar with the lifestyle in Europe, it was a no brainer on our end that a Holiday campaign in Paris would be perfect and Preview made this dream come to reality. It was an excellent collaboration to have a holiday look book with a fashion authority magazine,” says the brand.
Two lucky readers of Preview, Chinny Palmares and Francis Maypa, were given a chance to travel for free with the group and witness the behind-the-scenes of a fashion magazine’s shoot.
THE COLLECTION
Drawing inspiration from the European fashion capital, the brand’s holiday collection features footwear for the office, to special occasions and for traveling to casuals. The pointy pumps, boots, wedges, rhinestone-encrusted pumps and sandals are complemented with statement bags featuring studded clutches to intricate lace minaudieres and metallic pouches.
THE MINI-MAGAZINE
The mini-magazine, launched during Philippine Fashion Week and inserted in Preview’s November issue, features a day and night fashion editorial that gives a glimpse of the city’s chic vibe showcasing the newest shoes and bags from the brand.
In her editor’s note for Preview Escape, Pauline Juan notes “Parisian’s Holiday Collection is in its natural habitat… calling out to every fashionista. We’re all very fortunate indeed that KC, who is practically a native of this city, leads us through the City of Light.”
