Davao City’s Mp3 band garnered the highest percentage of combined online and text votes with 25.69%, which automatically secured their grand finalist slot. Zilent Overload of Pasig City, on the other hand, was unanimously chosen by the Big Three judges while Roel Manlangit of Bukidnon managed to get the votes of judges Kris Aquino and Freddie “FMG” Garcia. Ai Ai Delas Alas, meanwhile, voted for flairtending teen Chaeremon Basa who ranked third in the nationwide votes and was among the acts that competed in the battle for survival round.  This is the first time in PGT history that the judges have to choose two semi-finalist acts that will advance to the finale.

This week, the remaining three grand finalist slots will be filled. Who among breakdancers D’ Intensity Breakers, metal ring dancer Frankendal Fabroa, folk dancers Bughaw Folkloric Dance Group, power vocalists The Miss Tres, 24-year-old siren Eumee Lyn Capile, and car drifters Lateral Drift Productions will make the cut? Don’t miss the second live semi-final performance night this Saturday (May 25) after “MMK,” and watch the second live semi-final results night on Sunday (May 26), after “Rated K” on ABS-CBN.
