(TV) Artista Academy awards Best Actor and Best Actress this Saturday at the Big Dome

The much-awaited Awards Night of TV5’s grandest artista search happens this Saturday, October 27, as Artista Academy returns to the SMART Araneta Coliseum where it first opened its doors to over 12,000 hopefuls for its massive one-day audition in June this year.

It will be the ultimate showdown of talent, looks and charm as six grand finalists – Honor Students Akihiro Blanco, Chanel Morales, Mark Neumann, Shaira Mae, Sophie Albert and Vin Abrenica – put to use everything they have learned from their months of training at the Asian Academy of Television Arts (AATA) to show how deserving they are of the Best Actor and Best Actress titles.

Artista Academy’s Best Actor and Best Actress winners will bag a total of P20 Million in cash and prizes plus guaranteed lead roles in an upcoming TV5 teleserye. Not only will they be the richest of all talent search winners in the history of Philippine TV, they will also be the new breed of professional actors who are equipped with the proper training and attitude that will rightfully make them the industry’s future stars.

The Artista Academy Awards Night will showcase all six Honor Students’ talent in singing, dancing and acting. Each of them will try their best to impress the critics in their song and dance performances. Their individual short films will also be shown along with the comments of the directors who have worked with them. Eric Quizon directed the three short films of the girls while Joyce Bernal helmed the boys’ drama flicks.

The other Artista Academy students (Tropang Kick-Out members Benjo Leoncio, Brent Manzano, Chris Leonardo, Jon Orlando, Malak So Shdifat, Marvelous Alejo, Nicole Estrada and Stephanie Rowe) will also be sharing the stage once again for a special production number.

The Awards Night will also be highlighted by the appearance of special guests, the conferment of special awards to the most deserving Artista Academy students, a teaser preview of an upcoming TV5 program, and a special announcement leading to the proclamation of Artista Academy’s first-ever Best Actor and Best Actress.

Admission to the Artista Academy Awards Night at the Big Dome is free. For information on how to get free tickets, tune in to Artista Academy on TV5 every night at 9:00 p.m. after Wil Time Bigtime.
