Sandra Bullock has topped Forbes magazine’s list of Hollywood’s Highest-Paid Actresses – after pocketing 56 million dollars between June 2009 and June 2010.
Forbes compiled the list after calculating their upfront fees for movies, back-end box office profits and money earned from signature perfumes, clothing lines and other endorsements.
The Oscar-winning-actress took a lower fee than usual to star in ‘The Blind Side’ in exchange for a larger share of the film’s profits, a gamble that paid off, reports News.com.au.
Reese Witherspoon landed the second spot in the Forbes list, earning 32 million dollars over the past year from upfront pay for the movies ‘How Do You Know’ and ‘Water for Elephants’, as well as her work for cosmetics company Avon.
Cameron Diaz with 32 million dollars, Jennifer Aniston with 27 million dollars and Sarah Jessica Parker with 25 million dollars rounded off the top five.
