SSS Conso Loan: How to Consolidate Your Past-Due SSS Loans with Penalty Condonation

The Social Security System (SSS) is encouraging members with past-due short-term loans to take advantage of the SSS Conso Loan Program, a financial relief initiative that allows qualified borrowers to consolidate multiple overdue loans into a single account while enjoying penalty condonation and flexible repayment terms. The program is designed to help members settle their loan obligations more easily, restore their good standing with SSS, and avoid the burden of continuously accumulating penalties.

What is the SSS Conso Loan?

The SSS Consolidated Loan with Penalty Condonation (Conso Loan) combines the principal and interest of a member’s eligible past-due short-term loans into one consolidated loan account. Any accumulated penalties are consolidated separately and may be fully waived once the loan is paid according to the approved payment terms.

Why Avail of the SSS Conso Loan?

According to SSS, members who qualify for the program can enjoy several benefits, including:

  • ✅ Full penalty condonation upon complete payment
  • ✅ Flexible repayment options
  • ✅ No service fee
  • ✅ Convenient online application process
  • ✅ Restoration of good loan standing with SSS

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the SSS Conso Loan Program, applicants must:

  • Have a past-due SSS short-term member loan
  • Not have received final SSS benefits such as retirement or permanent total disability
  • Not have been disqualified due to fraud against SSS
  • Have an active My.SSS account

Covered loans include eligible Salary Loans, Calamity Loans, Emergency Loans, Salary Loan Early Renewal Program (SLERP), and certain restructured loans.

Payment Options

One-Time Payment

Members who choose to settle the consolidated loan in full within 30 calendar days after receiving the approval notice will receive 100% penalty condonation.

For consolidated loan amounts of ₱5,000 and below, one-time payment is required.

Installment Plan

Members may also opt for installment payments by paying at least 10% down payment within 30 calendar days after approval.

The remaining balance may be paid over a period of up to 60 months, depending on the total consolidated loan amount.

The remaining penalties will likewise be condoned after the loan has been fully paid under the approved repayment schedule.

How to Apply

Applications are submitted entirely online through your My.SSS account.

For official program guidelines, eligibility, and application instructions, visit:

SSS Conso Loan Program

Members may also download the official My.SSS mobile app to conveniently access their account and submit loan applications.

A Financial Fresh Start

For members struggling with overdue SSS loans, the Conso Loan Program provides an opportunity to regain financial stability by combining multiple obligations into one manageable loan. With waived penalties, flexible repayment terms, and a fully digital application process, the program offers a practical way to settle outstanding balances while maintaining eligibility for future SSS loan privileges.
