Few days ago, Sarah Geronimo posted in her instagram an apology and what she learned about forgiveness. It was a very bold move for her and everyone is here for it. After reading this, I took a step back and went thru the process of asking for forgiveness. That’s what Sarah Geronimo taught us today, to let go and reconcile.
This is arguably the most significant factor. To let go and go on, we must be able to forgive ourselves. Sometimes, we frequently focus too much on how other people feel about us and neglect to consider our own feelings. With Sarah G’s very private life, this is really a step bigger than her. And we are living for it. True to her realizations, we must allow ourselves to experience things. Think about the circumstance and your feelings it evokes, then accept them.
Read on.
I admire Sarah G for this. Sometimes it might be incredibly difficult to apologize. We either lack the words to speak or just lack the willpower to do it. But the first step to letting go is to apologize. If we are at a loss for words, take a moment to reflect on the occurrence and allow yourself to experience all the feelings that the memories evokes. Own your feelings by giving them some thought. Use them as motivation to apologize since the best type of apology is always one that is honest.
We don’t always understand forgiveness, which makes it challenging. How then can you go on knowing that the person you injured still feels badly about you? Just keep telling yourself that you made a mistake. The situation won’t improve if you get angry with them for not forgiving you. Put yourself in their position for a moment; attempt to experience their feelings. Don’t give up and start working on forgiving yourself; just keep in mind that it can take them some time to forgive.
She also mentioned how being grateful she is for everyone. Gratitude fosters positivity and assists us in adopting a more upbeat view. Instead of constantly aiming for more, it enables us to take a minute to appreciate what we already have. the next objective, the new outfit, the new accessory, the new vehicle, or the home improvement.
Thank you Sarah G for setting an example yet again, for your million fans to see that there’s a way to walk around with being grateful, being humble and asking forgiveness to the people who matters. Thank you.
