Ella Cayabyab’s “PILIkula: Her Story,” Premieres This Friday on KTX PH


Ella Cayabyab, a former “PBB Connect” teen housemate, lands her first lead role in a digital movie in “PILIkula: Her Story,” a film about an online writer who is trying to fix herself while finding a way to produce a hit story for her not to lose her job streams on KTX.PH this Friday (Feb.25).

In “Her Story,” Ella plays Phoebe, an online writer who struggles to write a story because of her past problems. The time is ticking. She needs to make a hit story to keep the position as one of the rising writers in their publication.

In the process, she was able to write β€œFighting,” a story focusing on Nica (Sela Guia), who does everything to impress her boss, Ian (Sky Quizon), regardless of lying to him about knowing how to speak in Korean.Β Β As the story unfolds, viewers will notice that Nica’s plight reflects the dilemmas Pheobe was facing.Β Β Will the story help Pheobe to deal with her problems?

Ella bagged the lead role of “Her Story” after garnering a total of 49.015% combined votes from kumu and KTX in the “PILIkula Spotlight.”

Tickets for “Her Story” are now available on KTX.PH. For P149, viewers can watch the film, plus a meet and greet with the artists. Meanwhile, fans can also choose the general admission tickets priced at P99 to watch the movie.

Personal opinion, are you guys sure she’s the bida here? Based on trailer it looks like’s she just narrating and totally out of the whole story. We’ll see if this is true because as “THE WINNER” she should be the main character here.
