Asia’s Queen of Soul Jaya is the next Corazon of GMA Network’s second Marimar adaptation. This was announced this week by Jaya’s camp. The original Corazon was played by Julia Marichal in 1994.

During one of the press interview with Jaya, she mentioned that she really worked hard for this second adaptation of Marimar.“Medyo demanding talaga kasi malayo ang location. That’s where I’m kind of hoping and praying na sana malapit nang kaunti ‘yung beach. But we are going to do the best that we can, whether it’s far or near, we just want to do a fun show,”
