I love Pinoy flavors. With my busy schedule, work, events and blogging, I always make it a point not to eat on fast food and settle for Lutong Bahay. That’s why sometimes I ended up eating on classy pinoy resto with friends because I feel like there is a need to celebrate our own food, the Pinoy Flavors.
Last month as the New Shangri La East wing opened, various restos also started accepting guests including Zarzuela. And together with my other blogger friends, we were invited to have lunch and experience the unique but familiar menus they are offering.
Since I’m a rice person, I tried their Chorizo Rice. Actually, Flavored rice is already a main dish to some, I can manage to finish a single order of Chorizo or Tinapa Rice without other dishes. Zarzuela Chorizo Rice is heavy. With tomato and Chorizo bit, I think I’m home. But I didn’t eat much rice.

I think I had one of my best lunch that day! Having tried almost all of these with friends, it feels like homey! Plus the attentive staff to serve us. Opps and wait here are some of the best sellers we tried, THE DESERT!!!

ZARZUELA, a Filipino Restaurant is located at 6th floor of SHANGRI LA East Wing! Unit 6023, Shangri-la Plaza Mall, Mandaluyong City with Tel Nos. 470-3296.
