(TV) Judge CHARICE Goes FACE TO FACE With Former ‘Rivals’

Charice once again crossed paths with her former rivals in singing contests that she joined in the past.  But this time, she is sitting as a judge and the fate of her former rivals partly lied on her hands.

THE X FACTOR PHILIPPINES” JUDGE CHARICE GOES FACE TO FACE WITH FORMER ‘RIVALS.’

In last Sunday’S “The X Factor Philippines,” Charice’s fellow judges Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, and Pilita Corrales were impressed that the international singing sensation remembered auditionees (watch the sunday episode and you will get the names there). Despite being the youngest judge in the show, Charice actively voices out her thoughts and carefully scrutinizes every hopeful so as to pick the ones who will proceed to next round and possibly be the next singing superstar of the country.

Charice also continues to make buzz in the online world as more netizens watch what she is going to do IN the show. Last weekend, some hopefuls stole the limelight like 31-year-old stand up comedian Osang. At first glance, audiences would think he would belt out a ballad as she told the judges that he would be singing an emotional song. But to everyone’s surprise, Osang started head banging and singing like real rockstar. All judge-mentors were in awe and were totally blown out by Osang’s performance that all of them gave him a big yes to advance to the next round. Another auditionee, 18-year-old Heley Vanessa Bayot, gave a tear jerking moment especially for judge Martin who cried while watching her give her own rendition to his song “Kahit Isang Saglit.” The young girl dedicated her soulful and heartfelt performance to her biological father who died because of cancer when she was just three years old. Heley, together with Osang, will now advance to the Boot Camp stage of the competition. Will they be able to survive the next round? Don’t miss the country’s biggest and grandest musical event of the year, “The X Factor Philippines,” with KC Concepcion as host, every Saturday, after “MMK,” and every Sunday, after “Sarah G Live” on ABS-CBN.
