(TV) Ang Probinsyano, OTWOL Maintained Top Primetime TV series for 2016


While ABSCBN remains the television network as number station being watched for the entire year of 2015, Kantar Media released its comparative total Philippines TV ratings (Urban+ Rural) of ABS-CBN vs. GMA7 and TV5 from January 1-11, 2016. Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remained the undisputed number 1 in primetime including Pangako sa Yo, On The wings Of Love and Pasion De Amor. Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes that represent 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population, while the other ratings data supplier AGB Nielsen reportedly has only 1,980 homes based solely in urban areas that represent only 57% of the Philippine TV viewing population.
