When the mother and son met Ronnie (Justin Cuyugan) in a town fiesta, they instantly felt comfortable with him especially after they learned that he is a distant relative. They welcomed him into their home until Ronnie became a regular visitor.
Their sound relationship got destroyed when Belen goes home one night and caught Ronnie in the act of sexually molesting her innocent son Eman.
