It was one awesome weekend with my blogger friends last time at the very east wing of Shangri-la mall. This time, we tried another Korean house,- Woo Galbi. Its been awhile since I joined food dining visit with them and Im glad this I did. Well for starters, Woo Galbi is a modern family Korean restaurant but still has the traditional authenticity in its flavors. It is located at Level 6 of Shangri-La Plaza, East Wing.
Woo Galbi will provide a new face to Korean cuisine in our local scene with its posh ambiance, excellent service, and unique and delicious dishes fit for the Filipino palettes.
Woo Galbi refers to a specialty that consists of marinated beef short ribs. All time favorite Classic Korean dishes like Bibimbap, Bulgogi shortribs, All Beef Platter, and Kimchi are the usual favorites, but other Woo Galbi specials like the Galbi Tang, Sundubu Jjigae and Woo Galbi Rolls are picking up along with Woo’s favorite, the wraps or ‘Ssam’.

Woo’s House Salad is served with apples, onion dressing and wonton crisps!
If you love your mom’s Tofu in soy sauce, you will also love this huge chunks of pan fried tofu from Woo. I’m not really a fan of Tofu but this one is worth trying.
I think this one is my favorite. The House Beef Belly Wrap! The wrap is a thin slices of beef belly grilled with veggies and wrapped with soft tortilla. Look at the presentation!
Well I know we all love anything fried cooked with scrambled eggs. Now, Its time for you to try an scallion pancake with seafood. It is the Haemul Pa Jeon, one of the best seafood pancake I have ever taste so I think I am going back with these!
Of course, the popular Bibimbap!
We all love soup right? Well Woo Galbi will take care of it with their very own Galbi Tang, a short ribs in clear soup.
Asian also loves a combination of hot and spicy stew. Woo Galbi has Sundubu Jjigae, a stew with tofu that includes oysters, mussels, clams, squid and shrimp). This is actually has a medium level of spice so it will suit our cravings for spicy food.
