New generation’s ‘Movie Queen’ Bea Alonzo and one of the most in-demand leading men in the country, Paulo Avelino will team up for the first time in ABS-CBN’s upcoming primetime drama series titled “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon.”
According to Bea aside from working with Paulo, she is thrilled with the multiple characters that she will portray in the series, which will premiere this June. “It’s my first time to do something like this that is why I’m so excited. This is the most challenging role that I’ve ever done in my career so far,” said Bea who will give life to the roles of a feisty lawyer named Emmanuelle and the heiress of a chocolate company named Rose.
Paulo, on the other hand, feels blessed to be working with Bea and award-winning actors like Albert Martinez, Eddie Garcia, Dina Bonnevie, Tonton Gutierrez, Anita Linda, Maricar Reyes, and Susan Roces.
“More than being pressured, I am honored that I’m given the chance to work with them because I am really learning so much as an actor,” shared Paulo, who will portray the role of Patrick, a young man who will fall in love with one of Bea’s characters, Rose. Under the direction of Jerome Pobocan and Trina Dayrit, “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” will tell the story of how the two totally opposite women, Rose and Emmanuelle, will be united by fate and by their hunger to seek for the truth and justice.
Completing the powerhouse cast of ABS-CBN’s newest drama series are Nikki Valdez, Bembol Rocco, Francis Magundayao, Michelle Vito, and Miguel Vergara.
“Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” is the newest masterpiece of Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the group that created the phenomenal drama series “Walang Hanggan,” the hit family teleserye “Ina Kapatid Anak,” and the currently top-rating Primetime Bida series “Ikaw Lamang.”
