Published by Rawr Books, A Weekend with Ellen enthrals readers to a different kind of photography style. Taking its cues from the magazines photos done by Japanese models, gravure makes use of poses that are more playful and innocent than aggressive, with minimal lighting and production design.
Photographed and designed by Jay Tablante, the gravure photobook chronicles how Ellen spends her relaxing weekend. In one scene, Ellen is seen fresh out of bed, having coffee in the garden. In another she’s under the sun, displaying her more playful, yet still very sexy side.
