ABS-CBN got the rights to air F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers after the network acquired the title along with other four GMMTV-produced programs for 2021.

The series was first announced during GMMTV “New & Next” event last October 2019.
Early this year, the phenomenal Meteor Garden celebrated its 18th year anniversary. Eighteen years after its first episode aired on Philippine TV, “Meteor Garden” fever is still very much alive as Pinoy fans reminisced their experiences watching the show and flooded the comments section of iWantTFC’s social media post that celebrated the show’s anniversary.
