(EVENT) Kabayan Hotel Looks at The New Horizon, Holds Ground Breaking Ceremony for Expansion

I remember my last visit to Kabayan Hotel very recently when I personally booked a balikbayan friend from UAE for a short stint in Manila. We arrived at 3am there so we have to wait until breakfast time so we can eat. After settling down, we went down to eat somewhere but the reception told as that they serve breakfast at that time. I looked at my watch and it is earlier than 6 am in the morning. That, I remember is an extra mile to their hotel services.

And when Ive heard of an incoming groundbreaking of another wing for Kabayan Hotel, I gladly confirmed because I know that these kind of hotel deserves expansion so that fellow Pinoy experience hospitality like no other.

The three star hotel is looking at a bright future now that they are planning to expand beside its currently existing property. Perfectly situated at the heart of Pasay City, Kabayan Hotel promises with a similar functional and modern design. What I like about its location is that it is just 20 minutes away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and within walking distance to Bus and MRT stations. Within the last 10 years, its location became more accessible to malls such as SM Mall of Asia and Resorts World Manila.

Present during the ground breaking, who also participated in the ceremony are the following, representing different meaning of the future of Kabayan Hotel.
Shovel of Faithfulness – Mr. Wyden King, Chairman and CEO of Abraham Holdings, Inc.
Shovel of Love – Engr. Edwin Javaluyas, Pasay City Engineer
Shovel of Obedience – Mr. Sonny Elsworth (Rep of Vice Mayor Boyet Del Rosario)
Shovel of Abundance – Mr. Wevens Ty, Wellington Investment & Manufacturing Corp.
Shovel of Joy – Arch. Roy Villarosa, R. Villarosa Architects
Shovel of Peace – Mr. Jun Fuentebella, Legend Hotels International Corp. (LHIC) COO
Shovel of Humility – Ms. Cheeny King, General Manager, Kabayan Hotel
Shovel of Righteousness – Mr. Raymund S. Aves, Hotel Property Manager, Kabayan Hotel.
When it is happening, I remember one of my favorite takeaways during my highschool retreat. “If you want a swimming pool, you may have to invest in a shovel.” In other words, faithfulness embraces preparation and persistence, honors investment and counts the cost. Faith trusts the promises of God, but never manipulates them toward selfish ends.

Mr. Wyden King, Chairman and CEO of Abraham Holdings, Inc welcomed distinguished guests during the day and one thing I have noticed, they are very religious and the word of God manifests through his vision. I was indeed inspired with his talk which followed by another inspiring speech in the morning.

Also present during the event is Pasay City Lone District Representative Ms. Emi Calixto-Rubiano
