Around years ago, I’ve been hearing about some developments about Eton and glad to know I was invited at their special event yesterday. In celebration of the Year of the Snake, Eton City has prepared this week-long event themed Heroes and Villains which featured various games and activities for the young and young at heart.
Dubbed as New World Cosplay Show, the event is actually, a grand costume play contest where anime and comic hero fanatics showcase their own adaptations of everyone’s well-loved characters last February 17. This event capped off Eton City’s series of Chinese New Year activities, which commenced last February 11. Surprisingly, Cosplayers from all over have gathered at Eton City and was able to take some photos of the contestants.
To launch the week’s festivities, a giant anime display was set up for photo-ops, as well as other family-friendly activities such as a robot-making contest, an acoustic night performance, interactive displays, game booths, tournaments and a grand bazaar of unique and hearty finds. To end the week with the blast and welcome the new year in joy and positivity, a dragon dance was performed to entertain the guests and give them an exciting and energetic start for the year ahead.
The event was actually a good getaway for me and grateful to Eton to have me on the event. We also tour on some of the units around the area and gees, these are all good residential units to live!
