American Idol returns for its best season yet this January 2013 on ETC. Joining Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson as judge this season are: Grammy Award-winning country crooner Keith Urban, rap superstar Nicki Minaj and the best-selling female recording artist of all time, Mariah Carey. Catch the two day premiere of American Idol Season 12 on ETC this January 17, Thursday via satellite at 6PM with a primetime telecast at 8PM, and January 18, Friday via satellite at 6PM with a primetime telecast at 9PM.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, watch the judges travel across the United States in search for contestants who possess raw talent and a voice that will stand out of the crowd. Narrowing down the competition, only a select group of semifinalists will have the opportunity to sing their hearts out each week in front of a live studio and TV audience with the judges having their say after each performance.
