Alright, its ANDREW GARFIELD! He will be the next Peter Parker in the new Spiderman Movie! Garfield bested Josh Hutcherson, Logan Lerman, Aaron Johnson and Jamie Bell for the role. He will begin preparing for the role immediately and shooting is expected to start later this year for summer of 2011 release.
Andrew Russell Garfield, born August 20, 1983, is perhaps known for his roles in the 2007 films Lions for Lambs and Boy A, as well as 2009′s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
Film producer Avi Arad said that Garfield is “the perfect choice” to play “a smart, sensitive, and cool new Peter Parker who can inspire us and make us laugh, cry, and cheer”.
