ICYMI, stage actors OJ Mariano (Ang Huling El Bimbo), Vic Robinson (Pingkian), Kakki Teodoro (Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Muzikal…’Yun Lang!), and Nica Tupa (Rama Hari) all came together last Sunday and brought joy to residents and visitors of Bonifacio Global City (BGC) with Boni Viva Luci, BGC’s annual light festival.
Boni Viva Luci 2025: BG-SEA (which literally translates to wondrous life in light) was an enchanting show that combined creative storytelling and musical performances with lights, projections, dance, and larger-than-life lighted sea creature puppets! Held along 5th Avenue, the free show attracted thousands of people, and it was really refreshing to see everyone just pause and watch the story of Ori and Bati unfold with smiles on their faces.
In relation to this, from May 17-25, BGC offers everyone to hop on an art and science adventure and catch mesmerizing art installations all over the district with “See-life” by Martin Gallego, which is located in a pond along Bonifacio High Street; “A Question of Blue”, an art projection by IJ Cacnio at the BHS East Park (near Specific Gravity); and “Aqua Terra”–mixed art and interactive installations that include bamboo tunnels filled with sparkling marine life, as well as a hanging artistic coral reef and other captivating “sea-themed” installations at the Terra 28th Park.
