If there is one reason I switched from my typical traditional watch to a smartwatch, it is because I am usually on the go, it is easy to wear all day, and it comes in a variety of colors to match your style. And, as a content provider, I need to keep up with all of my notifications. I was able to see calls, texts, and app notifications on your wrist without having to take out my phone. This time, I’d like to share my experience using Samsung’s new Galaxy Fit3.
A few weeks ago, I was able to join the Galaxy Watch Earth Day Run and get to monitor my activity using the Galaxy Fit3. So let’s dig further.
Design and Style
I appreciate how the Galaxy Fit3 looks sleek and clean. It has an aluminum chassis and a larger display, allowing users to monitor their health and wellness data—from daily workouts to tranquil sleep—right from their wrists, around the clock. The metal shell and 1.6-inch display of the Galaxy Fit3 are 45% wider than those of the previous model. Look how compact and light this is.
The large AMOLED display is, for me, a great PRO for this Galaxy Fit3. Very vibrant and very responsive. The display itself is really one of the highlights.
Lets have a quick look at the specs.

Slim. Light. Ready for motion
With its sleek and lightweight design, the Galaxy Fit3 comfortably fits into our workout routine. The slim aluminum body, as light as 18.5g, won’t weigh you down or get in your way during workouts. Plus, 5ATM and IP68 ratings mean it’s ready to face raindrops or dust. Look workout-ready and stay fit. I wanted to wear a black strap, but this white one looks good on me too.
The strap is actually easy to remove and assemble. Love this quick-release way.
During the day, the Galaxy Fit3 allows users to keep an eye on their daily activities. I like that we can track over 100 types of workouts anytime, anywhere, and review their exercise records easily, encouraging us to stay motivated to achieve their goals. Even while I am working from home, it really gives me the information I need to know, like if I need to stand—kind of like a reminder for me to do some activities. The Galaxy Fit3 also features a 5ATM rating and IP68-rated water and dust resistance, meaning users can enjoy outdoor activities in a variety of environments as well.
Up to 13 days on a single charge.
I remember charging it about a week ago. Its claim of lasting up to 13 days on a single charge may be real, as I am now on Day 10 of wearing it. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 can be charged up to 65% in just 30 minutes. You don’t have to worry about battery life and can instead focus on your daily workout.
Exercise Tracking: auto detection.
I like how this Galaxy Fit3 detects if I have a specific activity, like running or working out, because it detects the activity and suggests it to monitor and track my progress. Very smart, right? Through this, we can get a comprehensive view of our workout performance, health progress, sleep patterns, and more with the Samsung Health app on our phone. Check your accumulated health data from your Galaxy Fit3 and view it over an extended period on a larger screen.
Track your sleep. Gain insights.
As someone who lacks sleep and needs to be reminded of my habits, the slim, light Galaxy Fit3 rests snugly on our wrists, silently monitoring our sleep patterns through the night. We can discover details about our sleep stages, snoring, and blood oxygen. This actually encourages us to find and monitor our sleep score. And with that, we can get sleep coaching and get the good night’s sleep we deserve.
100+ Watchfaces with various features
I am now using this watch face, but there are many other ways to quickly view the current local time anywhere in the world or how many calories we burned today with the Galaxy Fit3. We can pick from a selection of more than 100 fashionable or educational watchfaces, or we can make our own using our best photo.
Detects falls, delivers help
When our Galaxy FIt3 senses a fall using its integrated sensors, which include a barometer, it will ask us if we require assistance. We can alert our emergency contacts to additional emergencies by pressing the Home button five times. When assistance arrives, your pre-registered medical information will be visible on the lock screen. The Galaxy Fit3 now has fall detection and emergency SOS as safety features to give consumers a safety net.
Overall, I like the Galaxy Fit3 because of its design, given its large AMOLED display and long battery life. The only minor improvement is that it doesn’t have GPS or BT calls, but everything looks wonderful.
