Review: ASUS Vivobook 16X OLED M1603. Bigger and Better

As a content creator, the need for a powerful laptop is a never ending aspiration. Not to mention my day job, which requires long hours working on spreadsheets and presentations. That’s why I always bring a working laptop with me so I can work whenever or wherever the action happens. Either I work from home, or even polish an article or edit photos in a coffee shop. I’ve got to trust a working laptop everywhere I go. For me, it is juggling performance over aesthetics. But what if you could get the same thing that is ideal for either working professionals, students, or parents? That is something we will explore today. I’m talking about one of the great laptops from the Vivobook series, the ASUS Vivobook 16X OLED M1603.

This week, I was catching up on my video contents and KDRAMA, and for many people like you, I want to see our main characters in detail. Recently, I reviewed a Netflix series entitled Celebrity,” and I needed to finish it ASAP, but I don’t want to watch it if it’s not on my smart TV. Thanks to the Vivobook 16X OLED M1603. Though I was hoping for more bass on audio, Its incredible 16-inch OLED display is one of its best features, making the viewing experience more alive.

And not only that, I thought that it was too big, but it is not. A 16-inch laptop is still compact enough to be portable, but it offers a larger screen than a 15-inch laptop. I can definitely see more when browsing and watching content. What does it mean for us as content creators or students? A larger screen means that we can see more of our content at once, which can be helpful for browsing the web, monitoring social media, watching videos, or playing games.

The keyboard is given the ASUS Antibacterial Guard treatment to keep everything clean. For added convenience, which is very useful for me, ASUS included a fingerprint scanner in the upper right corner of the trackpad.

What I also like about this Vivobook is the 180-degree hinge, which provides vast viewing angles and is especially useful when sharing the screen with folks on the opposite side of you. Actually, I was hesitant to do so because I feared it might be harmful, but it is this aspect of Vivobook that makes it so appealing.

Let me also highlight the wide range of ports here:

1x DC-in

1x HDMI 1.4

1x USB 2.0 Type-A

1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C

2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A

1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack

I want to circle back to the advantage of the OLED screen with a bigger, better screen size. I couldn’t help but admire its color the moment I first received this Vivobook. It has an infinite contrast ratio. For starters, OLED pixels can turn completely off, which means that they can produce true blacks. This results in much deeper and more realistic images than LCD screens, which can only produce dark grays. This means more vibrant movie watching and an impressive presentation.

The OLED panel offers incredibly rich colors and deep blacks, making it perfect not only for watching movies but also for editing photos or creating graphics. At the same time this week, I got to finish my Instagram photo edits to help with the SIM Registration campaign, which, by the way, will end this month. I can’t emphasize enough how great it is that its 16:10 aspect ratio also gives us more vertical space to work with, which is great for productivity tasks. If you ask me, I love multitasking. True enough, a larger screen gives me more space to work with, which can help me multitask more effectively. For me, I think that’s the real essence of productivity.

Next Level Performance

I remember the laptops I used before packed with so many files on my desktop, while getting all my apps hanging with simultaneous spreadsheets and presentations open all at the same time. Those were the days when I didn’t get to check the processors and performance before buying a working laptop. It’s a good thing the Vivobook 16X OLED M1603 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5600H processor, which is one of the most powerful mobile processors available. This processor can handle even the most demanding tasks, such as video editing, gaming, and programming.

And since I have a gazillion photos and videos from content that I don’t have to let go of, the Vivobook 16X OLED M1603 really helped a lot, as it has 16GB of RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD, which provide plenty of storage and memory for all my needs.

As a content creator myself, I’m always on the go, and I need my working laptop with me. That’s why it’s very important to have a laptop that has amazing energy performance. So I tested the Vivobook while working the entire day outside. It didn’t disappoint. The Vivobook 16X OLED M1603 has a long-lasting battery. This makes it perfect not only for working professionals but also for students who need a laptop that can last all day. The laptop also has a number of other features that make it a great choice for students. As I mentioned above, I am obsessed with the fingerprint sensor for secure login and a backlit keyboard for easy typing in low-light conditions.

My takeaway is that if you’re buying a new laptop, be smarter about it. The ASUS Vivobook 16X OLED M1603 is a great all-around laptop that offers a powerful processor, a beautiful display, and a long-lasting battery. It is ideal for students, creative professionals, and anyone who wants a great laptop that can do it all. Plus, a larger screen allows you to see more detail in your content, which can be helpful for creative professionals who are editing photos or videos.

True to its promise, the ASUS Vivobook 16X OLED (M1603) can deliver. The bigger, the better.  You can learn more about this laptop here https://ph.asus.click/VivobookTheRodMagaruShow
