On a personal note, I was happy to see more and more series will be produced this year in PH but was not excited about the remake especially when some of the works in the past were not really that impressive. But as the saying goes, let us not judge the book by its cover, I am giving the production the benefit of the doubt.

Netizens quickly went wild after this announcement and it seems like there is a division of thoughts about the announcement.
