Regardless if you’re planning a staycation or flying to Metro Manila for a quick vacation, Sheraton Manila Hotel offers an easy and relaxing stay in Pasay City.
Quick background–Sheraton is one of the many hotels housed within Newport City. It is part of a semi-luxury chain and is situated right across Terminal 3 (this means that you get amazing views of the airport and Pasay City sunset) and boasts of espousing world-class amenities with authentic Filipino hospitality to provide guests with a signature experience.
My friends and I recently stayed here so we can watch the coronation night of the 70th Miss Universe and thought I’d share our short but sweet experience.

One of the things that I absolutely love about the Sheraton Manila hotel is its strategic location. It is literally walking distance from Newport Mall and other establishments, which means that getting your hands on whatever you need–may it be food, luxury items, wellness services, etc–is very easy. It also very easy to book a Grab or car service to and from the hotel!
Guests of Sheraton should expect to undergo standard health and safety check upon checking in. This includes temperature check and filling up a digital contact tracing phone. Unvaccinated guests need to present a negative RT-PCR test result that was taken no more than 48 hours prior check in. Now, let’s talk about the rooms! My friends & I stayed in deluxe rooms, which is way more spacious than I expected! I also love how the interiors are very tastefully done. And the beds–oh the beds! These are some of the best hotel beds I’ve ever slept on, and if you’ve been following me, you know that I travel a lot for work, so yes, I’ve been to a lot of hotels.
We weren’t able to try the fitness gym but looking at it from the outside, you can tell that it’s a step above most other hotel gyms. The fitness area is designed to fuel fast and focused workouts delivering maximum results in minimum time.
They also have a designated area for learning and play for kids 12 years old and under.
After our Miss Universe viewing party, we made sure we get to experience one of the amenities that Sheraton Manila is famous for–their Vega pool with Freestyle pool bar.

I really wish we had more time to explore Sheraton Manila, but as you all know, December never lets anyone take it easy–even during a pandemic.
