(LIFESTYLE) 4 Things I’ve Learned from Watsons Philippines’ “Bro Bootcamp Session”

I know women have their beauty regimen and their rituals are already defined throughout the test of time. For men, it boils down to few things when it comes to preparing for a typical day. But wait, I’m not going to share how beauty bloggers discover tips and all but I’d like to say that it might be harder for men to completely stay neat and clean with all these skin care for men but with Watson, everything is possible nowadays.

If you have read on my previous shares, Watson Philippines literally devoted a space in every Watson stores for us to cater our needs, our simple vanity needs so that we don’t get to confuse where is our moisturizes, cleansers, soaps and all.

Because I know, even us guys don’t like to admit it, Watsons knows that even the manliest of men could use a little extra care. In their recent event entitled “Bro Bootcamp”, Watsons rolled out a crash course program showing the boys how to master personal care. From basic cleansing training, to showering, shaving and scent, all the way up to moisturizing, the guys got the lowdown on upping their grooming games.

So I always make it a point that I visit Watsons for my monthly supplies.

Robi Domingo, Keifer Raveno, John James Uy and David Guison also graced the event and share some tips to all of us. I even joined in one of the games, and lost LOL. Here’s a sneak peak at some of the things we have  learned.

Sharp & Clean

Keifer shared how it is important to be sharp and clean. I admit sometimes, I let it grow but doesnt look neat on me. Heard of the saying “not a hair out of place”? Well, here’s where you make sure that holds true. Enter the fine manly art of shaving. With a good trusty razor and shaving cream to smoothen each stroke, you’ll be set to get out there with that fine, put-together look in no time.

Cleansing

Cleansing preps the whole process of grooming. This is where you rid yourself of dirt and have a “clean base” so you use products like shampoo, facial wash and body wash.

Moisturizing

Cleansing may leave your skin free from impurities, and that’s good, but sometimes this also leads to dry skin. And that’s a problem no one wants to deal with. That’s why it’s advisable to have a moisturizing product, usually in cream form, as part of your kit.

Refreshing

It’s not enough to be clean; you’ve got to smell clean too. A lot of guys underestimate the importance of getting that scent in check. Start with the basic deodorant, then spray on a light fragrance or cologne. Tip- match the occasion for the right effect.

Robi Domingo, Keifer Raveno, John James Uy and David Guison also graced the event.
