Xian Lim returns to “MMK” to take on the role of a young man who dreamt of becoming a radio personality despite his medical illnesses this Saturday (Aug 6).
Raymond (Xian) grew listening to the radio as it was the only means of entertainment for them in Sultan Kudarat. Tuning-in on a daily basis, Raymond realized that he wanted to grow up and become a radio personality.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Raymond was diagnosed with leukemia at a very young age. With the help of his mother Erlinda (Lara Quigaman), Raymond recovered from this challenge which turned out to be just the first of a long line of medical illnesses.
Raymond finally got his break when he was accepted to become a radio DJ for a radio station two hours away from his home and with the timeslot of 4 am. Having to deal with the stress of work while studying, Raymond’s white blood cell count dropped so low that Erlinda had to force Raymond to stop working until he finished his studies.
Will Raymond give up on his dream? Or will he prioritize his studies and health more?
