IT was a night full of surprises last September 16 at Makati Shangri La as KakaoTalk, Korea’s largest mobile messaging application, officially introduced The Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo as its Endorser with the members of the Press and finally revealed its latest ambassadors, GMA Network artists Alden Richards and Louise delos Reyes!
Sarah Geronimo proudly shares her chic experience of the KakaoTalk mobie app using different emoticons and talks about her admiration to her very own emoticons created by KakaoTalk developer. The Sarah Geronimo emoticons are especially tailored for all of the KakaoTalk users particularly to those who wants to see her every moment.

On the other hand, KakaoTalk gave us the sneak peak of Kapuso artists Louise and Alden new TVC campaign that showcases different scenarios with the pair interacting with KakaoTalk Friends such Muzi, Con, Frodo, Neo, Apeach and Jay-G. The new TVC is set to air on September 21, 2013. “We are extremely excited to welcome Alden and Louise to the KakaoTalk family,” says Tim Jang, director of Kakao Philippines. “Alden and Louise are the perfect addition as they represent and embody our brand character: young, cool and fun. The public will be amazed on the next phase of our campaign where Alden and Louise are part of.”
After the press conference with KakaoTalk ambassadors, Press and KakaoTalk users headed to another set of events created for fans and KakaoTalk users. Apart from the introduction of the two new ambassadors, fans were treated to a special night of games and surprises, along with a special message from Big Bang.
The lucky fans night was concluded with a mini-concert by Sarah Geronimo.

“We cannot thank the fans enough for the overwhelming support that we’ve received since our launch in mid-August. In such a short period of time, we have topped the charts in the iOS App Store and Google Play,” added Jang. “We will continue to release content specifically for the Philippine market, such as the Sarah Geronimo emoticons and soon Louise and Alden stickers.”
Fans can now look forward to adding Louise and Alden on KakaoTalk’s Plus Friend to receive the latest updates from the duo such as pictures and videos. Free animated emoticons, stickers and theme, will soon be available in KakaoTalk’s Item Store.
