When the lights go out, what would you do to survive? JackTVpremieres this March an epic adventure series from the studio of Executive Producer J.J. Abrams—Revolution. This post-apocalyptic tale is set in a world where an unknown phenomenon wipes out electricity. Premiering onMarch 23, Saturday at 9PM on JackTV with regular screenings every Monday at 8PM starting March 25, follow the journey of a small group of people who still holds hope that someone will come and light their way.
Computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights are gone and the world’s population have been left out in the dark. After government’s collapse and public order is forgotten, many people find themselves ruled by warlords and militias. Amongst the turmoil, the show focuses in on a fearless journey of hope and rebirth as it follows the lives a strong-willed young woman names Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos). When her brother Danny (Graham Rogers) is kidnapped by militia leaders, Charlie seeks out her estranged uncle Miles (Billy Burke), a former U.S. Marine who now lives a solitary life, to help her.
With her uncle and a rogue band of survivors by her side, Charlie sets out to rescue her brother, bring justice to those who have been wronged by the militia, re-establish the United States of America, and in due course find a way to turn the lights back on.
JackTV ties up with WWF in support of Earth Hour 2013, a global campaign on its 5th year for the benefit of saving the environment one step at a time. We encourage JackTV viewers to join the millions around the world and be part of this advocacy by simply turning off their lights on March 23, from 8:30-9:30pm. This may be a simple act but can cause a major effect in our push to raise more awareness if not just within the Philippines, maybe even around the world. To learn what a world without electricity is like, tune into JackTV’s newest show Revolution every Monday at 8PM!
