BAD TEACHER (on Unrated Blu-ray™, DVD and VCD)
Move to the head of the comedy class with this year’s hilarious hit comedy, BAD TEACHER, coming to Blu-ray, DVD and VCD in an Unrated Cut this month from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Cameron Diaz (Knight and Day, Charlie’s Angels), Justin Timberlake (Friends with Benefits, The Social Network) and Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah
Marshall, I Love You, Man) star in this irreverently funny tale of a teacher with her own unique ideas about educating America’s youth. Featuring hilarious supporting turns from Lucy Punch (Dinner for Schmucks), Phyllis Smith (“The Office”), John Michael Higgins (The Ugly Truth), Thomas Lennon (“Reno 911!”) and Molly Shannon (TV’s “SNL”), BAD TEACHER is the laugh-out-loud comedy that’s bad in all the right ways!
Elizabeth Halsey (Diaz) is ruthless, wildly inappropriate and says exactly what’s on her mind. She may be working as a teacher, but her real occupation is to find a rich man to support her and get her out of the middle school for good. When she’s dumped by her fiancé, she sets her plan in motion to win over a rich, handsome substitute (Timberlake) – competing for his affections with an overly energetic colleague, Amy
(Punch), while disregarding the advances of the school’s irreverent gym teacher (Segel). Elizabeth’s schemes and their wild consequences prove that she truly doesn’t give an “F.”
CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE
Crazy, Stupid, Love, the perfect combination of sexy and cute, will be available on Blu-ray, DVD and VCD this month from Warner Home Entertainment Group. Adapted from a screenplay by Dan Fogelman (“Cars” films), Crazy, Stupid, Love is a critically acclaimed romantic comedy-drama that follows a man’s perfect life unraveling after he discovers his wife is having an affair, turning his whole world upside down. At fortysomething, straight-laced Cal Weaver (Carell) is living the dream—good job, nice house, great kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart. But when Cal learns that his wife, Emily (Moore), has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his “perfect” life quickly unravels.
In today’s single world, Cal, who hasn’t dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth. Spending his free evenings sulking alone at a local bar, the hapless Cal is taken on as wingman and protégé to handsome lothario Jacob Palmer (Gosling). In an effort to help Cal get over his wife and start living his life, Jacob opens Cal’s eyes to the many options before him: flirty women, manly drinks and a sense of style that can’t be found at Supercuts or The Gap.
Cal and Emily aren’t the only ones looking for love in what might be all the wrong places: Cal’s 13-year-old son, Robbie (Bobo), is in love with his 17-year-old babysitter, Jessica (Tipton), who harbors a major crush of her own… on Cal. And even Jacob’s new-woman-every-night modus operandi is challenged when he tries his best lines on Hannah (Stone), a girl he just can’t seem to get out of his mind—maybe because she’s the first woman he’s ever met who doesn’t think this professional player has any game.
Directed by Glenn Ficara and John Requa (“I Love You Phillip Morris”), Crazy, Stupid, Love stars Steve Carell (TV’s “The Office,” “Date Night”), Oscar® nominee Ryan Gosling (“Half Nelson”), Oscar® nominee Julianne Moore (“Far From Heaven”), Academy Award® winner Marisa Tomei (“My Cousin Vinnie”), Kevin Bacon (“Frost/Nixon”), Emma Stone (“Easy A”), Jonah Bobo (“Zathura: A Space Adventure”) and Jane Carroll Lynch (“Shutter Island”).
