Hours before the Star Magic Ball last September 3, 2011, A memorable blogging event was held through the effort of Orange Magazine TV and Astroplus entitled “BLOGGERS BLOWOUT”. I was honoured to be a part of the event that was divided into three categories, music, movies and gadgets.
Hosted by the very accomodating Ms Katherine Choy and Mr. Jimmy Lim from Astrovision, the event was held to learn more about the latest in movies, music and gadgets that Astroplus / Astrovision is providing to everyone, as they are one of the best one-stop shop for entertainment.
As an entertainment blogger (Music, lifestyle, movies and TV), I signed up for the MOVIE part wherein a very interesting introduction of some latest movie trailers were shown from Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox and a lot more. An interesting discussion was also made possible by C Interactive, Viva Videos and Magnavision. Been doing a lot of movie reviews of our local films and I am excited to do a review of the Hollywood movies shown at the event. Some of them are Crazy Stupid Love (Done with the review), Friends with Benefits, Thor, X-Men: First Class, Captain America, Green Lantern, Transformers, Green Hornet and Kung Fu Panda.
I think the best part of the event was the experience of watching your favourite movie in 3D, and not in the moviehouse, but right in front of your TV Screen. Yes! LG introduce another great cinematic excellence through television. (On the Photo Katherine Choy asking me my experience on the 3D!! Thanks to Jeman Villanueva for capturing the moment!)
The event was also very generous in giving away gifts and giveaways, Aside from Outsourced Code Blu Ray disc that i got from C Interactive, I also got DVD from Astrovision and from Viva Videos. I also got limited edition Twilight posters and USB from Cars II! Thanks to Astrovision as well i took home a Kenny G CD which I really love. What I love in the product presentation is the upcoming Harry potter DVD releases and interesting to know that C Interactive is the one releases the I LOVE YOU PHILIP MORRIS DVD.
I hope that they will invite me in all of the movie event they will launch in the future.
Too bad right after the Movie Part I have to go to Manila Pen for Star Magic Ball. I missed the Headset giveaway. All in all it was a fun event!!! I wish I also got the chance to attend the music and gadget part as all of the talks and presentations are very interesting. We should have more events like this in the blogging community and grateful to Orange Magazine TV and Astrovision for making this event possible.
