Bistro Group Opens Italianni’s & Texas Roadhouse At Ayala Malls Circuit

Ayala Malls Circuit, the lifestyle and entertainment destination south of Makati, is the new home of two Bistro Group concepts, Italianni’s and Texas Roadhouse. Their opening is perfectly timed for the Christmas season for guests who want to dine-in and celebrate with family and friends or to order dishes for their Noche Buena tables.

The sprawling mall, with specialty shops, hip dining places, world-class event venues, and sports facilities, provides the perfect backdrop for these two restaurants with a casual and friendly vibe. Here I am vibing with my favorite drinks.

  1. I was delighted and excited to visit and spend time in Circuit Makati after being away from Philippines for 6 months and i was amaze when i saw the newly opened restaurants, Texas Roadhouse and Italianni’s. I saw some nice(but not quality) steaks at the Texas Roadhouse and i convinced my wife to have a diner with my entire family and she agreed.
I talked with the lady manager on duty( i dont know where the hell in the world she came from and how the hell she became a manager) and told her to make a reservation for 7pax and at the same time and informed her that i will be bringing 3 bottles of wines. 1 Rosé Champagne 1 Chat.Talbot2012 and 1 Tokai 2012 and guess how much she wanted to charge me for the corkage???? 700 peso per ML!!!! Idiot and stupid!!!! A normal size of bottle of wine is 750ml, do the Math!! 750mlX2= ??? Then multiply by 700 peso! 500ml(Tokai)x70peso
I decided to book instead at Italianni’s and i was relieved when the lady manager just charged me 500 peso for the whole corkage. I was not able to come though on the specified date and time(march 26)coz i was sick but managed to pursue my reservation after 4 days even though i was still recuperating.
I personally went back there at 1:30pm and rendered my wines for our dinner at 7pm to the lady manager and gave her specific instruction on how to handle those wines and prepare a bistro card for me coz i will make that place a regular hang out for all of us.
Me and my family arrived there at 6:30pm only to find out that the table and section that we booked was given to a group with foreigners drinking san miguel light, cheap white wine and JW Black. Guest where this idiot lady manager relocated us???? Right by the entrance of the resto na muka kaming security guard dun sa spot na nilagyan nya ng table na i’m sure, it was not part of the original set up and layout ng resto. Dumadaan ako dun almost everyday coz i live just nearby and i have never seen that table previously set up there. The reason that she gave me was really irritating and infuriating!!!
Kasi daw nag booked na daw yung group na yun 3 weeks ahead! Excuse me???!! She just wanted to make palusot but unfortunately DI LUMUSOT! She even gave instruction to her staffs to prepare our table that moment when i was there! I work in hospitality industry as well and i handled 7 F&B outlets all at the same on a daily basis! The only good thing there is the service of Patrick ,the bartender in which i gave him tips almost equivalent to my 2 cups of coffee bill that i previously had there with my wife. U better train your managers accordingly!!
