This year, Puregold kicks off its 25th year in the Philippine retail landscape. To commemorate this significant occasion, Puregold released its “Nasa Iyo ang Panalo” digital ad series across its various social media platforms, collectively garnering, at this point, 43.1 million in views online.
The sleek, modern aesthetic of the digital advertisements was complemented by the sentiments projected at their core: that Filipinos can triumph over life’s myriad challenges.
The “Nasa Iyo ang Panalo” digital ad series has featured the likes of SB19’s Justin de Dios; TV superstar Francine Diaz; first-time parents Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola; self-made TikTok star Queenay Mercado; and pole vaulting phenom EJ Obiena. The ads give a sense of the difficulties that each had faced on the path to their “panalo” stories.
Beyond the sheer volume of views that each ad received, it’s clear that the videos also had an affirmative effect on netizens who were inspired by the personalities’ own narratives. Their fans and supporters enthusiastically expressed their support and appreciation for these stories and the lessons these offered.
Take YouTube user meowu who commented on Justin De Dios’ video: “So proud of you, kuya Justin!! Sobrang laking impact ng ginawa mo talaga katulad ng pagpapatunay mo na may ibubuga ka pa. Sobrang namotivate mo ako na ipagpatuloy ang mga bagay na nakapagpapasaya sa’kin.”
Meanwhile on the Francine Diaz video, its nini wrote to say, “So proud of you, Chin. You are truly an inspiration to the youth. Continue to inspire people. Thank you Puregold for choosing Francine. You chose the right one.”
Others are also touched by how Puregold has given a platform to these successful Filipinos. Nelson Arcilla remarked on the EJ Obiena feature, “Kasama mo ang Puregold sa pagkamit mo ng pangarap kaya fight lang.”
Vincent Co, President of Puregold Price Club Inc, believes that it’s important for Puregold to stir up hope through these “panalo” stories.
“Success never comes easy to those who seek it; we know that well after 25 years of business,” says Vincent. “It’s important for us to share the stories of inspiring Filipinos and show our customers that through all the hardship, there’s a path to better things.”
The Puregold “Nasa Iyo ang Panalo” ads can be viewed on the official Puregold Channel on YouTube, Puregold’s Facebook page, as well as their official TikTok @puregoldph.
