The Social Media Superstar becomes the face of the international clothing brand’s Denimlab line and Power Stretch Jeans

And just like that, the well-guarded secret that Penshoppe has been keeping from everyone is finally revealed. The international fashion brand has signed up another supermodel to join its already star-studded line-up of brand ambassadors, which includes Kendall Jenner, Lucky Blue Smith, Sean O’Pry, Sandara Park, and Mario Maurer. official announcement was made amidst excited shrieks and applause during an exclusive event hosted by Janeena Chan at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.
Gigi Hadid confirmed the news on Twitter herself a few hours after Penshoppe’s official launch, garnering over 9,000 re-tweets and 22,000 likes.
“Who wouldn’t want Gigi to be part of their team?” said Jeff Bascon, Penshoppe Brand Director. “She’s authentic. She’s a girl who knows how to have fun and has a great sense of style, and of course, the clothes look great on her. Gigi, together with Kendall, Sean, and Lucky are the strongest names now in fashion. Plus, we also have our Asian superstars, Sandara and Mario. At Penshoppe, we get those who are at the top of their game.”
Doubling as the launch of the brand’s Power Stretch Jeans—a line of specialty pants that promises take its wearer to more places with the use of soft stretchable material that provides absolute comfort plus a snug and flattering fit—one of the event’s many highlights included a fashion show that saw models walking, biking, and even skateboarding all around the venue guided only by lights that created an illuminated catwalk.
Guests were also able to have their Penshoppe denim items customized with fun and cool patches at a denim station while being assisted by dashing male models. A flipbook booth also took videos of the guests and printed them in flipbooks that perfectly show off the capabilities in movement and action that guests can experience with their Penshoppe denims. And to cap off the event, Penshoppe also raffled off caps and Instax photos that Gigi signed herself to lucky event guests.
Bascon also teased about bringing fashion’s Golden Boy, Lucky Blue Smith to the country this year, adding that the introduction of both Gigi and Lucky Blue is only the beginning for bigger things to come for the brand. “If you think that we are almost done, think again. This is just the beginning. Penshoppe’s going really big this year.”
