From my previous article, 6 new features you’ll love on WeChat 5.2 upgrade, here comes another way to express appreciation to our favorite messaging app which Im sure everyone needs. Well actually more often than not, we tend to look back on our conversation with some of our contacts to check some information.
In my case, I always want to havbe a copy of old conversation of my friends in blogging community to check if I missed any events. For this, social mobile app WeChat acts as your digital notepad thanks to its Chat History Backup feature, which saves conversation histories and restores them to any device for up to seven (7) days.
I will share you some simple steps on how WeChat revolutionized this concern with their Chat history Back Up!
First you have to go to “Settings” then select “General” then choose “Chat History Backup”. From there you will see an option, “Back Up” for the conversations you’d like to store.
Once you’ve saved your chats, you can protect them by setting a password.
Let’s say if you want to restore your conversations on any device, simply log on and tap “Restore” on the Chat History Backup window. The backed-up history will be restored to your device from the server.
