Good news for Organizations and schools that are gunning for the Company of the Year, Agency of the Year or School of the Year awards in the 2013 Philippine Quill and Philippine Student Quill Awards are encouraged to attend this year’s “Go for Excellence: How to Win a Quill” seminar on July 19 (Friday) at the Unilab Bayanihan Center, Room BCD, in Pasig City.


Conducted by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, the seminar will guide participants on how to prepare a winning entry in the Quill Awards.

The Philippine Quill is the most prestigious award in business communication in the country and is is the most comprehensive with 42 categories covering four divisions: communication research management, communication management, communication skills, and communication training and education.

Its junior version, the Philippine Student Quill. is the country’s pioneering nationwide tilt that honors outstanding communication work by full-time college students and exposes them to the highest standards in the communication industry.

2013 Philippine Quill Awards

The Philippine Quill is known for its stringent judging procedure that follows the global Standard and ratings set by the International Gold Quill, the biggest award in business communication in the world.
Entries, which cover various disciplines in communication such as public relations, advertising, marketing, events, research, training, publications, design, and multimedia, are evaluated and scored by seasoned and multi-awarded communication professionals and subject experts.

 

The deadline for submission of entries is on August 16, 2013.  There are two seminars on July 19 – for organizations, the Philippine Quill from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and for students, the Philippine Student Quill, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
