5 Reasons to Love & Support The First Filipino-Owned HAPPY HOTELS APP!

If there is one thing about Philippine tourism that we can be proud of, it is the announcement that Happy Hotels has released its first Filipino-owned travel booking app. I had the great fortune to be present for its formal debut this past weekend at the Vue Tagaytay Boutique Residences.

The Happy Hotels app allows both domestic and international travelers to book hotels, bed and breakfasts (B&Bs), and dormitels across the country with ease and convenience. Happy Hotels hopes that by launching this new booking platform, it will be able to provide consumers with a streamlined and hassle-free experience while also expanding its reach and supporting local business owners and workers.

Designed to cater to the diverse travel needs of Filipinos and tourists visiting the country, the Happy Hotels app offers various accommodations that cater to different preferences and budgets.

The Happy Hotels app offers a variety of destinations throughout the Philippines, including popular spots such as Boracay, Siargao, Tagaytay, Metro Manila, and Cebu. By including a diverse range of locations, Happy Hotels is providing travelers with more options to plan their ideal vacation while also supporting local businesses. I summarize 5 reasons why we should love and support the HAPPY HOTELS APP!

  1. An Ambassador Whose Heart is very Pinoy.

Fabio Ide named as the first Happy Hotels Brand ambassador and he is very proud to share how grateful he is to Happy Hotels from choosing him as non-Filipino ambassador but despite being a lad from Brazil, his heart is indeed closer to the Philippines.  “What really makes me happy is that Happy Hotels wants to support and help those less-fortunate ones here in the Philippines with their charity program.” Ide shares. I came here just for a days and weeks but now Ive been here for thirteen years. Fabio concludes.

2. Social Responsibility

I admire start-ups and enterprises that incorporate advocacy into their operations. As someone who has spent over a decade working for an NGO, I have a personal bias toward companies that consider others. Happy Hotels, in addition to providing simple booking services, will donate 5-10% of each user’s booking fee revenues to their charity of choice, which can be found in the charity options menu.

3. App Special Features

One of its main features is the ability for users to see and browse through the nearest accommodations available in their current location through the “Near Me” section of the app. It also features Calendar of Events and Popular destinations where one can help decide the future plans of traveling.

Its expansion will assist to promote and support the local tourism industry while also providing more Filipinos and tourists with a simple and fast option to book their travel lodgings.
