It’s official. Kathryn Bernardo is set to do movie with Black Sheep and Star Cinema. The announcement were made simultaneously at Black Sheep’s official social media accounts. They officially welcome back the Box Office Queen in line with Star Cinema’s 30th anniversary and Black Sheep.
A VERY GOOD GIRL
The first project announced is entitled “A VERY GOOD GIRL”, a dark comedy with a lot of class. She will be working with Petersen Vargas as the director in this project, creative manager Carmi Raymundo, writer Dominique Mancol, creative supervisor Daniel Saniana. Dolly De Leon will also be part of this movie.
ELENA 1944
The next project that was announced was Elena 1944. This will be directed by the one and only Olivia Lamasan. This will be written by Patrick Valencia, Enrico Santos and Vanessa Valdez as Creative Manager. For starters, ABS-CBN Films’ newest brand is Black Sheep. It is the new home for new and daring films that should be seen and heard. There are no bounds, only vision. First Project with Star Cinema.
This is based on a Palanca Award-winning screenplay done by Patrick Valencia. It is the story of Elena, the story of a comfort woman. It is also an action-drama, very daring for Kathryn. The plot and story revolved during the Japanese Occupation.

I used to keep track of Kathryn and Daniel’s awards, but I recently lost track as they continued to receive several citations and recognitions from various award giving bodies, including being a good citizen in the country.
Kathryn Bernardo recently starred in 2 Good 2 Be True, which aired on Kapamilya Channel and Netflix, alongside her longtime boyfriend, the country’s preeminent multiple box office leading man Daniel Padilla. The series quickly became one of the most popular Filipino shows in many regions of the world. Hello Love Goodbye, in which she co-starred with Alden Richards, is the highest-earning Filipino film of all time, grossing about 900 million pesos worldwide.
