(LIFESTYLE) The New realme 6i Blue Soda Experience

realme Philippines officially released the blue soda variant of 6i unit and it’s chic and eye-catchy! As I have mentioned in my previous review of realme phones, this brand has been a partner for years and I can personally attest to its market competitiveness when it comes to its price range, and quality. But what is it for us, buying a new phone at this point?

Pandemic has thought us many lessons and one of them is to really purchase only the essentials and if not, at least something that has value for money because spending in this trying times should be economical and smart. I saw a lot of you getting into making their lives productive through either finishing a course online, working from home and even sell something online. This resiliency is something that I have learned while quarantined in the last three months. This is where realme positioned itself to offer not only affordable, yet has value for money.

To be honest, I love android phones with colorful variant. Makes it easier for me to see it inside my backpack. Actually, the Blue Soda variant is the third color option for the realme 6i, following the two initial variants White Milk and Green Tea.

What’s in the box:

As you can see in the photo below, the unit includes USB-A to USB-C charging cable, wall charger, a translucent flexible phone case. Not on the photo are the usual paper documents and warranty + SIM ejector tool.

As mentioned in my previous release, the design takes inspiration from beloved beverages, this time from sweet and fizzy soda. The realme 6i has been personally designed by industrial design master Naoto Fukasawa, the same genius behind the design of the realme X series Master Edition.

Having this combo in your back camera makes your experience powerful at this price range and I’m telling you, I brought this on the grocery the other day and let people stare in this beauty.

Similar to previous units, realme experience in browsing websites are smooth and responsive. With its slim bezel you get the most out of its space. Oh by the way, the unit has a pre-installed screen protector.

Browsing your favorite social media app? It also gives you the best and enhanced color because this unit is an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with 720 x 1600 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~270 ppi density) resolution. Since the front and selfie camera is as good as it gets, I tried using it immediately in one of my zoom meetings. The Selfie Camera is impresive at itsw 16MP f/2.0.

Too bad, there are no presscons and events lately to full test this crowd but nevertheless I trust that realme is one to consider when buying midrange android phone with good camera.

As mentioned, I bring the new realme 6i Blue Soda to the grocery and took some photos to experience its camera.

The realme 6i also boasts a 35 percent CPU performance boost over the realme 5, its predecessor. It is poised to be a value beast in the sub-10k price segment, with its features being available in midrange smartphones. Not into gaming (for now) but based on other reviews from my fellow bloggers, realme 6i is also a front runner!
