In line with their mission to bring its men and women together and strive to provide excellent patient care, Provedence Hospital recently added a new laboratory open for public, the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab). Cardiac catheterization procedures can both diagnose and treat heart and blood vessel conditions. Glad to know that they have now diagnostic imaging equipment used to visualize the arteries of the heart and the chambers of the heart and treat any stenosis or abnormality found.
What I like about Provedence Hospital is that they have Auto Nurse Call, a specially designed communications system provides a total, non-stop and effective monitoring of patients’ calls, ranging from normal alerts to emergency levels. It is really nice to hear them with this kind of innovations, i am sure Cath lab will be one of the many pleasant changes and updates they cater. For starters, a coronary angiogram is a procedure that uses X-ray imaging to see your heart’s blood vessels. The test is generally done to see if there’s a restriction in blood flow going to the heart.
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) is a wonderful addition to its area such as five-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and three-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU). This advance and modern laboratory offers the world’s latest Coronary Angiogram by GE Healthcare, a modern machine that helps diagnose cardiac catheterization procedure.
This helped them to see live view of the patients ECG so they can tell whether or not there is a problem being caused by the insertion of the catheter into the heart to the electrical pathways. Providence Hospital carries the most up-to-date diagnostic and therapeutic equipment in the world providing top-of-the-line services including digital computerized tomography (CT) scan and x-ray machines, 3D mammogram and breast ultrasound as well as the latest laparoscopic units.
