Week before my trip to Amman, Jordan, I was able to visit and stay in one of the Megaworld’s pride hotels near Manila airport, the Belmont hotel in Manila. I was actually excited because the timing is perfect as they are celebrating its first anniversary.
Of course my initial impression about the hotel is that it gives me that luxurious and comforting “staycation” for yuppies on the go like me. True to its promise, they didn’t disappoint. They greeted all their guests with a warm and accommodating welcome.
I arrived earlier so I was thinking maybe I have to wait for the check-in time. Good thing, they already anticipate guests who might arrive early and soon as there are available rooms ready for everyone, I didn’t have to wait. I went straight to my room and took a quick shower. Some of the plus factors for me are Coffee & tea seat, executive writing desk, flat screen TV, set of bathrobe and slippers (as I love hotel pools) and hair dryer! Belmont hotel spoiled me. They have everything! Here I am going to give you a tour.
Since it’s already lunch, we had our sumptuous lunch in Cafe Belmont.
Cafe Belmont offers a variety of dishes to their guests and patrons. I will tell you more about Cafe Belmont in a bit but here are the delicious food we had during lunch. As I have shared with you in my previous hotel reviews, my comfort food are our very own, Pinoy dishes. Belmont Hotel knew I am going to love them for my entire weekend. They are serving all my faves!!!!
Anyway, I took a short nap in the afternoon after that sumptuous meal but as my curiosity to check the pool is as intense as my eagerness to swim, I went straight ahead upstairs. Oh boy, the view is inviting!
We went back to Cafe Belmont for another buffet round. (At this point I am thinking there’s another buffer breakfast waiting for us so Imagine how I tried to think of ways to not spoil my cuties inside my stomach) Nevertheless, who are we to say no to the comfort food I was telling you guys!
Here I am with my fellow blogger friends enjoying everything from Cafe Belmont.
After that unforgettable buffet, we get to watch Annie, one of the much anticipated modern day classics showcasing Filipino talent that boost Philippine theater at its finest. Its been awhile since I rekindle my admiration to this story based on a popular comic strip “Little Orphan Annie” by Harold Gray.
Here I am with MJ De Leon from The Lifestyle Hub getting early with our seats.
The Newport Performing Arts Theater is, as usual a sight to hold with its full pack audience.
Wait, we have an air conditioned service roaming around the Resorts World area! This Jeepney is indeed one of a kind!
This is indeed the exact definition of Staycation.
