Its another year again andevery 9th of January, large crowd of devout roman catholic gather at Quiapo Manila for the upcoming Pista ng Itim Na Nazareno. Millions of devotees never fail to put up a show of extreme faith to take part in the annual procession of the Feast of the black Nazarene. This is because my Mom was born on the same day (January 9) and she always attend mass as part of her devotion.

Last night, as I was watching TV Patrol, I saw an energetic Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada should act on the complaints of devotees against ambulant vendors, who cause obstruction and pose danger during the yearly procession. I saw Winnie Cordero reporting live from Quiapo, Manila about the preparation on the upcoming feast by the City Government. I was glad to see an update from her that most of the governing bodies and agencies were assigned to support the celebration. And knowing Noli de Castro as we all know is a devotee of the Black Nazarene, I was waiting for his commentary as I am sure he is also as excited as my Mom. However, some of his comments with Winnie’s reporting draws attention from Netizens watching the ABSCBN’s primetime newscast.
