The most phenomenal, talk of the town TV series of 2014, THE LEGAL WIFE ended with a bang last friday. According to Kantar Media, its season finale reigned nationwide with a record breaking 36.2 percent.
This is indeed a remarkable rating to date for ABSCBN’s Primetime finale considering its late night timeslot for a Primetime Bida line up. Among the TV series aired in the Philippines, JudyAnn Santos is the only queen who can climb up to 30%+ for a late night series (Habang May Buhay (May 2010) – 33.9% and Huwag ka lang Mawawala- 32.5% (2014).
Last friday, Angel Locsin’s The Legal Wife reached its peak nationwide almost 5 times the rating of competing program with Maricel Soriano who garnered an 8.8 total reach nationwide for Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real. The Legal Wife also beat Gerald Anderson’s high finale record for BUDOY (32.4).
The FINALE night of The Legal Wife also brought consistent high-rating series of ABSCBN. Anne Curtis’ Dyesebel got 32.1% from its intense scene compare to Nino of GMA7 with 15.9%. IKAW LAMANG also reached another high points with 35.7% compare to Kambal Sirena which has 15.2% only.
The Legal Wife topbill Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador, JC de Vera, and Jericho Rosales. It features the story of Monica and Adrian, a married couple whose lives are about to turn around because of a huge mistake. Itis indeed a series to remember. A phenomenal.
