After four years, director Zack Snyder returns to the DCEU to complete his vision.
From HBO Max, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC comes ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, directed by Snyder and starring as the famed lineup of DC Super Heroes: Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
The film also brings back Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta and Joe Morton as Silas Stone, and expands the universe by introducing J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke and Harry Lennix as Martian Manhunter.
It’s a new era. Superman (Henry Cavill) is dead and a new villain channeling a very old evil has arrived. Honoring Superman’s sacrifice, Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) must not only work together, but also unite an unlikely group of heroes – Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) — to fight Steppenwolf, an eight-foot-tall warrior from the nightmare world of Apokolips who wants to conquer not only the Earth’s population but the planet’s entire existence.
For Zack Snyder, this project is about a sense of closure, for himself, for his producing partner and wife Deborah, for the fans, for all of the cast, crew, and artisans who worked on his initial vision.
ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE has been rated R for violence and some language. The running time is 4 hours and 2 minutes.
